I should be asleep, but I am not, so I will update with what I did earlier in the day (as in yesterday, technically, but I don't feel like backdating)

Woke up feeling pretty good. No coughing or stuffy nose. I did the kitchen, cleaned out the fridge, and the vacuuming. We're having a Halloween party tonight so I wanted to help out as much as I could.

Then I spent the rest of the day tagging with my new friend, Kay, and Lexi over at this RPG, Grande Latte. I love it! I am as I have mentioned, playing just Farkle Minkus, and it really is fun!

The other half of the day I spent working on "Into the Fire" and this some of the stuff that's happened:

Spencer and Cale have convinced Espa to turn over training Victoria to them. They are certain that it is the fact that Espa and his brothers are too emotionally invested to really train her properly.

Victoria woke up in one of her "trance" states, and tried to go and find Wyatt who was supposedly calling her. When Griffon and Christien try and stop her, Espa gets involved, and ends up hurting her in the process.

Christien acknowledges taht while it's weird, Victoria being comforted by his elder brother Jonathan isn't uncommon and is actually a welcome change considering how clingy Tori had been to him before.

***

Now let me try and sleep. I doubt I will but I can try!

Trivia: I once performed as "Christine Daae" for a talent show, performing "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again". This happened around the time i was writing the first draft of "Into the Lion's Den".

So it's been a while since I really thought about exactly where the idea came from. I think originally the story was going to be called A Voice in the Dark, and the "Phantom" of the story was going to be Yami Marik. And the production wasn't going to Phantaom of the Opera, but The Sound of Music as it was set to follow THe Roba Diaries. It's so funny how this one idea has evolved into this amazing thing.

Griffon's role in the story has changed too. I think in the original draft he was more Wyatt's underaged lackey. In this version he seems to be more reluctant about it. You'll find out later why the reluctance, and the continued helping.

The other thing I figured out was that even before I finally saw a stage production of The Phantom of the Opera, the version that the Robas and Victoria perform is the stage production, complete with the pyrotechnics, courtesy of Rex.

Huh. I don't know when I decided it was the stage production, because I've only recently just seen it!

Man it feels like this is all I can write about lately. Sorry, guys! It's just consuming me 100% right now. And since I have so few people i can actually discuss this with... I will say it feels pretty good to just get it out. And if no one really reads this stuff, then that's okay! I just have to put it somewhere.

But let's talk about reality a bit. For the last few days, I've been dealing with a lot of negativity in my parents' house. Most of it is coming from Daddy C, who is just in a really bad negative place. The problem is he wants to spend spend spend and they just don't have the money for that. It gets old after a while, listening to it over and over.

I've been burying myself in my fanfic to escape him, and as a result, I have heard copious amounts of Phantom of the Opera both the Libretto (from the Broadway Cast) and the Highlights from the Movie Cast (Cause I lost my Broadway Cast! Don't worry, I'm ripping a copy from the library, cause even though I love Gerard dearly, I prefer certain songs performed by my dear sweet Michael Crawford).

I'll have to put all of this stuff on hiatus from Friday to Saturday though. Fred is coming over, and bringing me more Disc Wars: Avengers! Saturday afternoon I am going to a Crab Feast as a good bye party to my friend Joel. He was a friend of mine at Essex Community College. He's going to Frostburg, the school that I would've gone to if I had followed through with my 4 year here in MD. Anyway, so I'm doing that Saturday. Sunday I am going to be at Barnes and Noble. If my new Bank card comes in by then, I'll be getting my Phantom of the Opera Live at Albert Hall DVD. I just have to have it on DVD to own. The stage play is just so amazing to me. Other than that, it's writing, and RPing (if I can get my damn PC to work right) .

Okay, I've bored you long enough. IF you read this far, you are amazing! Thanks!

Trivia: My very first favorite Yu gi oh character was Ryou Bakura. (I still have a soft spot for him...AND his crazy Yami, though his yami I love do to fan incarnations of him I'v RPed with and written over the years). Loved Bakura so much I basically memorized the whole "Evil Spirit of the Ring" episode.
