I am a 29 year old female from a small town in NY. I have been writing off and on since the fifth grade. Last year I finished not one, but two full length novels. I am currently working towards publication of the first.
I am a freelance article writer on the side. I can make a little or a lot of money every week. I call the shots, and I love it.
When I am not writing, you can find me hanging out on Facebook, or Twitter. I also am prone to spending loads of time with my housemate, and sister, Lexi!! (Okay, so she's not my biological sister, but I still LOVE her to death like one.)
Some of my favorite places to eat (since there was not category for it) are :Pizza Hut,Grace's China buffet, Subway, and Sicilian Delight. I also go for Burger King, and when I'm home visiting my mom in Maryland, Popeye's is the bomb! Love that Cajun goodness!
Something interesting that some people online won't know: I was born with Hydrocephalus, which is water on the brain. I had a shunt put into my head before I was year old. I was the first newborn in the world to have this shunt in place at that age.
The hydrocephalus caused my Cerebral Palsy. I have the spastic variety, which means that I sometimes have trouble getting around, and doing simple things. This does not, and has never, stopped me from living a happy life. I find ways around it.
While I have these disabilities, my friends and family have always been there to support me. Those online who know about this are also special to me because they do not judge me by what I can't do. They judge me by what I make myself accomplish.
Other facts:
In our household, we have nine cats. Horace, Baby, Licker, Amu, Riku, Murphy, Mara,Bagheera, and Honey. Amu is the runt of the litter. She is SO little, and cute, even as she is now a year old! She still looks like a kitten. I can totally relate to her, because some people think I still look like I'm 12, and that I sound like it too over the phone.
Murphy came with me from Maryland. He's almost 6. I can't believe it. :) He was my first cat that was actually mine, and it shows. Murph and I stick together like glue when I am home.
