Travel Into My World

So last night I pulled the trigger on buying the third Live Action/CGI chipmunk movie. I am happy about this purchase for a number of reasons. The most important reason though is one of complete surprise to me. What made me love that movie so much? I ask this question because even though I loved the first two in the franchise, this one seemed different for a number of reasons that I have yet to really pin down. I can tell you that my favorite character, Simon, is one of the main draws for all 3, but it is his alter ego, Simone that I fell in love with in this installment.

It's funny when I think about how much time I spent longing for this movie strictly to watch Simone. I guess it's funny becuase the title is "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked", not Alvin and the Chipmunks Meet Simone. LOL. The rest of the characters are just as entertaining, make no mistakes. But for me, seeing Simon like this... as SImone, somehow just made me love him even more. I look forward to the next movie in 2016.

Trivia: Up until VERY recently, I was convinced Simon was the eldest chipmunk. Was recently informed that Alvin was oldest and Simon is the middle brother. >.< My childhood is shot. LOL
