(Letter written to my most lively muse at the moment, Noah Carver, the blue MegaForce ranger)

Dear Noah,

It's no secret that I am and have always been a huge Power Rangers fan. I have liked the series since it's debut in 1993. There has been no other show that I have followed more closely than it. Saban made my life when they brought Power Rangers over to the United States.

This is the 20th anniversary of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I feel so old. I really do. I think the majority of these actors and actresses are in their early 40s now. David Yost might even  be a bit older. But he's still my Blue Ranger to me.

Power Rangers MegaForce has become one of my favorite shows so fast, it's impossible to remember when I didn't watch this show every day. It's like Mighty Morphin all over again. I can remember just DYING for Power Rangers to come on on Saturday mornings. Or being pissed the hell off when my bus would be late getting me home.

Clearly my fanship of Power Rangers hasn't died down at all. There is something wrong with me, isn't there? Or maybe not. Maybe it's because of the influence of the original rangers. I have never felt more like I could do anything than I did during my Morphin' days. I still hold on to the things I was taught by Trini, Jason, Kimberly, Billy, and Zack.  Later, Tommy would teach me how to think for myself, and not let myself be so easily pressured into doing thing I knew were wrong.

MegaForce is very similar to the MMPR. Seriously, it must have some similar writers. The only thing the series lacks to be exactly like Mighty Morphin is Buulk and Skull. I am sure Jason Narvy would have enjoyed having some kind of bit role. He is such a great sport when it comes to his Skull days,.

Was thrilled to learn that they are incorporating some of the Gokaiger stuff in Season 2 of the series XD I am so happy. It's true, Noah. Your Ranger uniform is exactly like Joe Gibkin's! I squee every time you morph, cause I really do picture him. Hehe. But don't worry, Noah. I love you for you, too! You're my ungeekified Billy.

So this entry was supposed to be about other 90s things, too, Well, here goes. My other 90s coping mechanism is listening to my old boybands, and old groups I've had in my music collection since then. Hanson, The Backstreet Boys, The Rembrandts, and so many others. I just put Nsync and 98 Degrees on my iPad. That's saying something. I haven't really listened to Nsync in years, and neither have listened to 98 Degrees until fairly recently. I still love True To Your Heart.

My friend Patrick posted a wonderful picture of David Yost, Walter Jones, and Jason David Frank on my Facebook wall. It was so awesome to see these three together. I still wonder what happened to Steve Cardenas and Karan Ashley, though. You really don't hear anything about them anymore. (Damn it, there I go talking about Power Rangers again! What IS this?! )

Anyway, I'll talk to you later, Noah. Thanks for being a great listener. It means a lot to me!!

Love, Heather
