I meant to write this last night, but honestly, I was exhausted, and all I wanted to do was work on my NaNoWriMo project.
Yesterday's write-in/kick off was awesome. I finally got meet who I considered to be the head Municipal Liason for Maryland. Lee was awesome!! She was a very sweet, and funny lady, and I love that she got her kids involved in the writing chaos. We don't see many kids around Maryland attempting NaNoWriMo, so it was a nice change.
All of that aside, I spent my day really dragging ass. I had moments of "OMG I AM SO AWAKE!!" Thanks to Mountain Dew and copious amounts of caffeine, but by 2:30pm I was exhausted, and really just needed a nap. Slept till 5:30pm, and then got up and got right back to it.
Found out yesterday we're not doing the Maryland vs. Texas challenge that I have so enjoyed every year. To sooth the pain, I am still going to leapfrog with my main competition, TJ! We recently added each other to NaNoWriMo.org, and so I am poised to have a successful NaNoWriMo because of him.
The NaNo project itself... now that would take a whole entry. However, I don't have time for that, as I need to get on top of things since I Don't know if TJ has been writing already this morning. When I went to bed, he was already 2k words ahead of me. I need to catch him! So that's my plan today, aside from my own Write-in later. See you guys again soon!!
